Safety and acceptable use

Last updated: November 2, 2026

Alkems is a creative tool for marketing and design. These rules apply to everything you write, upload or create, and they are part of our terms of service.

Never allowed

  • Any sexual content involving minors, real or synthetic, and any sexualized depiction of anyone who looks under 18.
  • Sexual or nude content of any kind.
  • Intimate or sexual imagery of real people, with or without consent.
  • Using the face, body or voice of a real person without their consent, including face swaps and deepfakes.
  • Impersonating real people, brands or organizations, or making content meant to make others believe a real person said or did something they did not.
  • Election misinformation, fake news presented as real, or fake documents and IDs.
  • Harassment, bullying, threats, hate against protected groups, or content that promotes violence, self-harm or terrorism.
  • Infringing copyright or trademarks, or using content you do not have the rights to.
  • Scams, fraud, malware, or any other illegal use.

Real people and consent

You may only upload or animate people when it is you, when every person who appears has given you their consent, or when the characters are generated by AI. Before you use a photo or video of a person, Alkems asks you to confirm that you have the rights and the consent. We do not offer voice cloning.

Transmut (video to video)

Transmut works on footage you upload and own. It can transfer the motion of that footage to a character you provide, or replace one element of the scene, such as a product, an outfit, a place or a character, using reference images. A real person can only be replaced or animated with their own consented likeness or with an AI-generated character. Using Transmut to put a real person into a scene without their consent is not allowed.

How we enforce these rules

  • Automated moderation checks prompts, uploads and results before they are delivered, and blocks content that breaks these rules.
  • Every creation is marked as AI generated where possible. Do not remove these marks.
  • Breaking these rules can lead to content removal, loss of credits used for it, suspension or permanent closure of the account, and reports to the authorities when the law requires it, always for child sexual abuse material.

Report a problem

If you find content made with Alkems that breaks these rules or uses your likeness without consent, write to support@alkems.com with the subject "Report" and a link or description. We review reports within 48 hours and act right away on anything involving minors.
